Introducing WISE 3.0!

The best just got BETTER.

The NYU Grossman School of Medicine’s Program for Medical Education and Technology (PMET) Division is excited to announce that we will be launching our new platform with new features in an experience we are calling WISE 3.0 during September 16th, 2020.

Overall Updates

• WISE-MD and WISE-OnCall will be on the same platform, which will provide a unified experience for institutions subscribing to both products.

• A new product with addiction treatment/management cases available for subscription in partnership with Hazelden Betty Ford called CARE (formerly known as Aquifer Addiction)

• Optimized for mobile browsers.

• Consistent, streamlined reporting across products both on the learner side and on the administrative side.

WISE-MD

• Case module videos reviewed and updated: outdated treatment/management take out, with additional updates of current standards of practice being introduced on a rolling basis
• Skills Modules are now included in completion reports
• Goals and Objectives at the forefront of the module to set expectations for learners
• Prep questions (optional for learners to complete) added ahead of each section of each module to help learners assess their own basic fund of knowledge
• Findings: data extracted from case appear below videos as learner goes through the module. Learner can follow the case with Findings feature
• Surgery Steps & Anatomy: in text and image form for quick reference, reinforcing information presented in videos
• Details: each section of each module has a Details section in which we provide more in-depth resources for learners who are curious
• Summary Pages: A selection of pages at the end of each module that highlight:
  
  
  • Outline of module content (print to PDF for quick reference)
  • Commonly Asked Questions – questions that instructors/faculty may ask learners during clinical time
  • Index of Details: links to all the resources found in the Details section from the module
  • My Activity: learner’s module progress which includes completion status and date completed for each section within the module and question progress with time on task

• Updated content to fit the current standard of practice
• Streamlined reporting that will show date of completion for each section of module with completion date
